1. Morning Task: On June 10, 2024, between 7:00-9:00 AM, withdraw either ten or one hundred dollars and place it in a red envelope. Stick the envelope on the southwest wall of your living room between 7:00-9:00 PM. Leave it there until Chinese New Year Eve, January 28, 2025.
2. Midday Task: Between 11:00 AM-12:30 PM, boil tap water with a $1 coin for 10 minutes. After two hours, pour the water and coin into a covered bottle, write the name of the person you want to bless on it, and place it in the east part of the living room. Keep it until the next Dragon Boat Festival on May 31, 2025, then pour the water into the sink. Reuse the coin next year.
3. Dress Code: Wear red clothing or red underwear on that day.
4. Red String: Wear a red string on your right hand.
5. “Nine Sons Zongzi”: During the Dragon Boat Festival, people exchange “Nine Sons Zongzi” as a symbol of wishing for fertility.
6. Red bean zongzi: Dubbed the “valley of the heart” by Li Shizhen, offers multiple health benefits, including nourishing blood, supporting heart health, and clearing heat and dampness. Enjoying red bean zongzi during the Dragon Boat Festival is highly beneficial.
